While many might see Nicky as the sparkle and energy that drives the unique culture of CHR and helps manage the Downtown Littleton office, she is first and foremost all about family. Whether skiing in winter or pool-time and paddle boarding in summer, there is no place she would rather be than with her husband and three children. She extends that devotion and love for others to all she does and makes every person she meets feel like they have royal blood. That’s probably due in part to the fact that Nicky is from Surrey in England, south of London. British charm simply oozes out of her wherever she goes!

Celebration and hospitality are Nicky’s middle names and if there’s a reason at all for a party, she’s on it. From home-baked British goodies to crazy hats and photo booths, she doesn’t follow the fun; it follows her! Make no mistake, she’s also hardworking and conscientious with loads of integrity. When you need something done and done right, she will tirelessly see it through.

Nicky and her family moved to the United States in 2013 for her husband’s job with the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club. She acclimated quickly, utilizing her training and performing as an actress before having children to work with preschoolers and run theater camps for elementary age kids. In 2017, Nicky started working with CHR agents, providing administrative help, and now serves on the CHR Operations Team as a vital part of CHR being the well-oiled machine it is.

She’s traveled a bit, including Japan, New Zealand, the Caribbean, Spain, France and Greece. But her favorite is when travelers come to her. Hosting out-of-town guests is one of her favorite things to do. Fun fact: she was invited to a tea party at Buckingham Palace with Queen Elizabeth. (Did someone say “party”?!)

Director of Marketing

Nykki was born in Fountain Valley, California.  Her mother’s job relocated their family to Colorado when Nykki was four years old, where she was raised to be an athlete.  At the age of four, she started to dance and continued that skill through high school, lettering in Varsity Poms.  She also found a love for track and field.  She accomplished her goal to letter every year of high school and continues to fulfill her love for athletics via workouts at the gym, with her son’s organized sports, and on the hill, snowboarding with her husband.

Nykki’s soul is most fulfilled when she creates.  She believes that everything you do, you should do with your heart.

Nykki started as the Office Manager at Colorado Home Realty (CHR) and transferred over to where her passion and heart was – marketing.  She does everything from agent support to bringing awareness to CHR. She has an impressive attention to detail and a huge desire for creativity.  Anything that requires using her originality and imagination … she is the first to throw her hand up to help.  Her background in office management provides each department at CHR with assistance and leverage.

Nykki participates annually in the FARE Food Allergy Walk for her son who was diagnosed with Anaphylaxis and Asthma at the age of one.  Team Name: Ronin’s Warriors!  She is also an advocate for Gateway Battered Women Services

Nykki’s favorite word is the Greek word “Meraki” (pronounced: may-rah-kee), meaning “to do something with soul, creativity, or love;” “to put ‘something of yourself’ into what you’re doing.”

Director of Education

Breanne grew up in a northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois.  She attended Illinois Wesleyan University where she majored in physics and math.  She was quite the nerd in school but was also very involved in athletics and service projects. Breanne studied abroad in Australia during her last year in school and learned that her true passion was exploring new places and meeting new people.  This discovery led her to move to Colorado in August 2006.  The mountains and the outdoor lifestyle were too hard to pass up.  Once there, she taught high school math for 5 years and then decided she wanted a change in career and happened to come upon Colorado Home Realty.

Breanne oversees all education at CHR.  This means she will most likely be the one who is looped in as a resource when you have any specific questions regarding professional, business or personal development.  She can also be found serving as an unofficial assistant tech guru, overseeing classes being held, and working on numerous projects to better the company.  She enjoys helping people and immediately felt at home when she started working with CHR in 2012.  It is a place where she can work hard and also laugh a lot.

Breanne has two beautiful children, Emma and Nathan, and enjoys spending any free moment with them and their dog, Bella.  They try to be outside as often as possible, enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather and taking in all this state has to offer!

Some of her favorite places in the world (other than Colorado) are Islamorada, FL; Kapalua, HI; Laguna Beach, CA; Whitsundays, Australia; Geneva, Switzerland; Corsica, France, and Venice, Italy.  It likely comes as no surprise, then, that her favorite Dr. Seuss book is Oh, The Places You’ll Go!

Transaction Manager & Broker Associate

Naturally resourceful and helpful, Patty is that friend others go to for advice about real estate, as well as systems and tools to stay better organized.  As a transaction manager, she provides detailed, reliable service to the agents of CHR.  As an agent, she brings her unique warmth and a sense of humor to sometimes stressful situations.  Patty can take care of problems, handle serious things, and still make her clients laugh.

Originally from Chicago, Patty has lived in Denver since 2016.  She enjoys trying new restaurants, working on her ski skills and exploring all that this gorgeous state has to offer.  Her dream vacation is to visit Greece.  Fun facts: she has an adorable pug, would like to get an MBA in real estate, and once met George Clooney!

Professionally, Patty has been involved in the industry since 2008, specializing in both commercial and residential real estate.  She is a Pricing Strategy Advisor, with SMART Designations for 2021 and 2022, as well as a graduate of the University of Iowa where she earned a BBA in marketing.

Patty loves living in Colorado and plans to keep expanding her real estate expertise as she believes it is truly the most powerful financial investment.  Her calm personality puts people at ease while her excellent customer service ensures that her clients have the best possible experience.  She is thrilled to work with Colorado Home Realty, and for the opportunity to help with your real estate needs.

Matt is the founder and CEO of Colorado Home Realty.  He is dedicated to surrounding himself personally and professionally with people who want to live big, dream big, act big, and profoundly impact the lives of others.  For Matt, anything short of world class is unacceptable.  He continually searches for excellence within himself, and in stealing a line from Michael Jordan, “everyday wakes to compete against what he thinks he is capable of.”

Matt applies this drive and passion within his organization in a way that challenges and supports and that grows and evolves great people, business professionals and leaders.  Regarded for his analytical and strategic skills and his ability to inspire and motivate people to dream big and perform at a higher level, Matt has been hired by banks, management consulting firms, private equity and venture capital firms, mortgage companies and title companies nationwide to assess business development performance and create strategies and training to effect change.

After years as a top producing real estate and mortgage professional, Matt founded CHR with a vision and desire to change the real estate industry by creating a company that stands for excellence, culture, world class experiences and serves as a model of what is possible.  A serial entrepreneur, since 2005, Matt has started four other companies and has future plans for a consulting firm, many books he will write, an education company and technology development.  But his first love is real estate.

Matt hails from a small island off the coast of Washington but has been a Colorado resident since 1999.  He lives with his wife, Barrie, and their two children, Hannah and Carson, in Littleton.  Matt enjoys time with his family, coaching baseball, inspirational speaking, learning quantum theory, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, climbing, and running with his dogs.

Matt is a coffee, wine, beer and whiskey snob; he won’t wear shoes that haven’t been shined (unless they are biking shoes, hiking boots, or flip flops), loves to wear jeans and a sport coat, shorts and a t-shirt, and gets his best ideas while mowing the lawn.

Listing Coordinator

Claudia Meza is the Transaction Management Listing Coordinator at Colorado Home Realty.  She does the detail work and compiles the necessary background information to prepare listings to go on the MLS (multiple listing service).  Her professional background includes travel, hospitality, and real estate.  Naturally positive and optimistic, Claudia always strives to make others feel appreciated, warm, and welcomed.

Originally from Texas, and a graduate of Texas A & M University, Claudia is proud of being a first-generation college graduate.  As a kid, she learned English by listening to the music of the Bee Gees, Elvis, and Snoop Dogg!  These days, she loves to read and travel, and frequently takes mini-vacations to visit family and friends.  Her dream vacation is to visit Buenos Aires and explore more of South America.

She is inspired in life by her amazing family.  Her grandmother taught her what it means to be resilient, and her mother demonstrated how to live with an open heart and open mind.  Claudia describes her sister as her biggest role model in life and her partner Nolan as the most ambitious, determined, and kind soul she knows.

Claudia loves sweet tea and Spanish music, and if she had a theme song, it would be “Vivir Mi Vida” by Mark Anthony. Her favorite book is Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist because it reminds her that we should all strive to live in pursuit of our dreams and what truly sets our souls on fire.  Claudia’s advice to others is to get into the habit of asking yourself, “Does this support the life I’m trying to create?”

COO

Though still a southern gal at heart, Geneva fell in love with the mountains, the crystal-clear water, the seasons, and the Colorado way of life when she moved from Louisiana two decades ago.  While in Louisiana, she put her political science degree to use as both a campaign and legislative staffer before becoming involved in marketing and public relations as part of an appointed position in state government.  Marketing has remained a mainstay of her professional life since then, but along the way, she also moved into operations and management, serving as chief operating officer (COO) for two national, Colorado-based nonprofits before finding her way to the COO role with both Modern Mortgage and Colorado Home Realty.

With a bit of wanderlust in her veins, Geneva once traveled internationally for six months, visiting 14 different countries.  These days, though, you’re likely to find her closer to home, spending time outdoors with her family – unless it’s college game day.  Then look for her to be decked out in purple and gold, yelling “Geaux, Tigers!”

When you meet Geneva, be sure to ask her about how she “won” a mortgage on a home in the mountains!
