Legendary NCAA basketball coach, John Wooden, was well-known for spending a great deal of time walking through basic fundamentals with new recruits as head coach of the UCLA Bruins. These would include seemingly simple things such as how you should lace your shoes, or what socks you should be wearing.
Similarly, in order to master your craft as a real estate agent, you must first master the fundamentals of your business. Some of these fundamentals include:
- Identifying how you want your life to look like
- Designing an activity plan that will help you to achieve your business goals
- Effectively managing your database
Like playing basketball, if you don’t take the time to make sure you have these foundational pieces in place, you will have a difficult time in achieving the larger goals that you have set for yourself in order to live the life you’d life to live.
