Joan has lived in Colorado most of her adult life, graduating from the University of Colorado and living in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and then moving back to Denver after a stay of 14 years in Albuquerque. She currently lives in Golden after several years in Littleton and has helped clients buy and sell property throughout the entire Metro Denver area. Joan has been consistently upgrading her skills and knowledge during her 30-plus year career as a professional real estate broker. Joan is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Denver Metro Association of Realtors, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and Certified Investor Agent Specialist (CIAS).
Over the last 30 years Joan has sold large tracts of land, vacant lots, rental properties, single family homes, town homes and condominiums both large and small. Her past experience as an executive in the corporate world of real estate development and project management also broadened her knowledge and problem-solving skills, and this background now equips her to help buyers and sellers who present so many varying needs.
Joan also worked for a time as a commercial real estate appraiser but soon realized that residential real estate marketing and sales was where her heart lay and thus 18 years ago she returned to her first love, serving buyers and sellers in the Denver Metro area.
Joan’s determination, negotiation skills, tenacity and positive outlook are demonstrated in her passion and devotion to her successful full time career as a real estate professional.
Joan loves living in Golden with Cammy, her little poodle mix (?) puppy, and being so close to our beloved mountains.
Joan takes a Pilates class once a week.
She plans annual trips to Arizona and New Mexico to check out all the art and native crafts, sometimes including an evening at the Santa Fe Opera.
She loves music, plays the piano, often sings in choirs and enjoys season tickets at the Arvada Center.
Joan is a huge fan of the Denver Broncos and the Rockies and every year has high hopes for championship teams.
She has many friends – many are past clients – with whom she shares a love for food, entertainment and travel.
Joan endures an ongoing battle with celiac disease, an auto-immune disorder that requires discipline in her eating habits.
Great! Joan’s ready to get to work for you.
