Who Exactly is Brent Osland?

Here’s a little snapshot into his life.

(But really, you should get to know him in person.)

First and foremost, Brent is a family guy. Whether it’s his wife and kids, or his coworkers and clients, he believes building and investing in relationships are the keys to success and happiness, whether personal or professional. His degree in finance, CML designation, entrepreneurial talent and 27 years in the mortgage industry also contribute to his business success. His love for challenges, problem solving, and exceeding expectations contribute to a passion that extends beyond business and into all areas of life.

What Does Brent Do?

As a key member of the The Mortgage Company, Brent brings a competitive, thoughtful and proactive edge to world of mortgage lending. His level of commitment and inspiration from others who “care about the little things without caring to be noticed”, enable him to address needs that others can’t, service in ways that others won’t and care in ways that others don’t.

What Else Does Brent Do?

When not providing first class service to his mortgage clients, Brent enjoys attending Avs games, watching his son play hockey and going to concerts with his daughter. He also can be found most weekends either on the black diamonds or the back nine, depending on the weather.

What Makes Brent Tick?

Extending himself to help provide tuition assistance for inner city kids through Seeds of Hope, an organization he’s been affiliated with since 2009.
Making customers for life.
His annual Canadian fishing trip with his dad, son and old friends.
Engaging with others, finding out what makes them tick.


Born and raised in Iowa.
Started his entrepreneurial career at age 18.
Co-founded three successful businesses and sold two.
Managed over 200 employees at one time.
At one point, really wanted to join the Senior PGA Tour, assuming he’d be a better golfer by now.
Loves what he does. Every day.
