Who exactly is Geoff Burghardt
HERE’S A LITTLE SNAPSHOT INTO HIS LIFE.
(BUT REALLY, YOU SHOULD GET TO KNOW HIM IN PERSON.)
Geoff grew up in Hilltop and attended Graland and East High School. He played lacrosse at East and has two undefeated state championship titles with that team. He began his Geology degree at the University of Puget Sound and finished it at CU-Boulder. He then pursued an accelerated science teaching license through CU.
Geoff spent the last 7 years teaching Geometry, Literature, English and Mandolin at Denver Academy, a school for kids with learning differences. He developed many skills in the classroom that he expects to transfer well into real estate: connecting with people and helping them pursue their goals; using learning styles to find the right approach; collecting, analyzing and preparing information to help guide people through complicated decisions and processes. Geoff looks forward to learning about his clients and how he can help them find the right fit in a home.
Why Real Estate?
Geoff has a wide range of interests and loves to connect with people who pursue good things in their lives. He believes strongly in home ownership and see real estate as a way to help people create better lives. Geoff recently chose to become a real estate agent from being a high school Math and Language Arts teacher.
But who is Geoff really?
Geoff lives passionately.
A Teacher- once a teacher, always a teacher– passionate in the pursuit of the good life through education.
A Father- he is in constant amazement of his three children and watching them grow and learn and grow some more.
A Musician- Geoff listens to and plays as much music as he can. He has been in local bands and you can hear his playing on a couple national TV programs.
An Instrument Builder (luthier)- Geoff gets to combine art with science to create mandolins and ukuleles which he sells across the country (see www.iiimandolin.com).
On any given evening you’ll find Geoff in his workshop at home, in a bluegrass jam, or hanging out with his family.
