Tara’s childhood was filled with travel and adventure! While growing up, she moved from New York to England, The Netherlands, and then Chicago. After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Education, she made her way out to Colorado with just the belongings in her car, her now husband, and a thirst for outdoor adventures in the West. Since 1995, they have made Colorado home. She lived in Hilltop, Mayfair, and Stapleton, enjoying all that an urban lifestyle has to offer. She now resides in beautiful Ken Caryl Valley with her four nature loving boys.
Through purchasing and selling her personal homes, Tara developed a passion for real estate. She knows firsthand the excitement of a move and then the overwhelming number of details that need to be coordinated.
Prior to becoming a licensed real estate broker, Tara worked as an Elementary School teacher, president of her own company and manager. From these experiences Tara has learned how to represent and advocate for her clients, present information in easy-to-understand ways, organize and guide projects to completion, and practice patience and kindness in all situations.
Tara has a desire to bring a new perspective to the landscape of residential real estate. She knows the interests of her clients ALWAYS come first! Every customer has different goals, therefore she assesses their individual needs, uses innovative approaches to market and find their ideal property, and helps them to smoothly navigate the process.
Tara does not believe in a cookie cutter approach but rather a personal approach that puts the clients needs above all else. Central to Tara’s work ethic is professionalism, honesty, organization, creativity, and attention to detail. Tara strives to make home buying and selling a positive and stress free experience.
Tara is a member of the South Metro Denver Realtor Association, Colorado Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
When Tara is not assisting clients, she enjoys hiking, biking, camping and spending time with family and friends outdoors. With three boys playing competitive soccer she also spends a lot of time on the soccer field!
Tara LOVES traveling and will go on trips whenever possible!
She consistently “attempts” to replicate her Mother’s and Grandmother’s Italian meals without true recipes.
On rainy days, you’ll find Tara watching movies, challenging someone to chess or curled up with a good book.
In summer….look for her at Red Rocks taking in a live show!
Still one of her favorite things??? Date night with her husband checking out new local restaurants around town.
Great! Tara’s ready to get to work for you.
